(HOLLYWOOD, CA, August 12, 2011) - The Cimarron Group welcomed Dr. Richard L. Drobnick, Director of the USC Center for International Business Education and Research, on August 11th as host of their first visit from the USC Marshall School of Business and Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business in China. Dr. Richard L. Drobnick has an expertise in the Pacific Rim business and economic issues training of Executives in International business economic development.
The USC Media and Entertainment Program offers the Chinese MBA students an opportunity to meet with CEO Robert J. Farina and his team to see the interworking in entertainment, hospitality and automotive from Strategy to Audio Visual and Print Advertising to Digital and Social Media. The visit is designed to gain a better understanding of the evolution of the industry, business models and digital innovation. Robert J. Farina understands that "as Cimarron expands business globally, notably into the emerging Asian markets, we are excited to be partnering up with the bright minds from the Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business in China and the USC Marshall School of Business."
The 20-person participants from the 2011 Cheung Kong Graduate School of Business in China-USC program include a variety of expertise from China in the areas of Radio and Television, Beauty, Brand Promotion and Management. Shiingwu Wang, Associate Professor from the Marshall School of Business from USC said that "the group is totally fascinated by the creativity, dedication, and professionalism at Cimarron. The visit is way above the group's expectation, an extremely pleasant surprise for them." All of the students felt this was an incredible experience.
